.070-Breakfast @ The Gardens Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

Had a quick breakfast at The Gardens Hotel on the first day in KL during our trip last month because we went down late for breakfast and the buffet line was already closing.

I had some fried noodles, baked beans, potatoes, sausages, hams, and hash browns.

I also had a bowl of miso soup.

And finally a cup of pink guava juice.

.069-Haagen-Dazs Ice-Cream Cake.

Because I'm a member of Haagen-Dazs in Malaysia, I get some sort of special promotion during my birthday month. This year, I got 20% off the bill, whether it's dine-in or take-away. I decided to buy an ice-cream cake to eat as I haven't tasted an ice-cream cake before. I bought one with the Mango Passionfruit ice-cream flavour on the inside and a chocolate coating with some fruits as a garnish on the outside. I took it home and shared the cake among me, my parents and my maids. It was delicious!

.068-Si Ko Th'ng.

Don't ask me about this Chinese dessert. I have no idea what the ingredients are. All I know, the stall is set up yearly around this period (During the 9th Chinese month) at a Chinese temple near my house. Every year, me and my mum tends to buy some to eat and this year is no exception. This dessert is liquid and it's sweet.

On the first night in KL, which was the 17th, I believe, we went to visit some relatives. After that, we decided to visit Souled Out in Mont Kiara, Desa Sri Hartamas for dinner. It's a pretty nice place with a lively atmosphere. There is always people there and it's never empty. I like the food there, it is good.I guess this is one of the nicest places in KL to have dinner and I should figure out that it's a great place to hold a party. There's valet parking for people who are lazy to park their cars themselves, but for people like us who park on our own, the parking's free. Click the link to visit the Souled Out website.

.061-Mama's, Abu Siti Lane, Penang.

Last Friday, one of my many granduncles and grandaunts treated me, my parents and my closest granduncle and grandaunt to an early birthday dinner for me. My granduncle who treated me was craving for Nyonya food, so we all went for Mama's on Abu Siti Lane, off Macalister Road in Penang. The food was so-so only and I think it will be a very long time before I return there.

.059-Afternoon tea, The Gardens Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

After arriving and checking into The Gardens Hotel located in Midvalley City, Kuala Lumpur, we went to the rooms. Because we got executive rooms, we got the chance to use the lounge which is located on the 29th floor of the hotel. So, before going out of the hotel to get some stuff done, we had an afternoon tea at the lounge.

My Apple Juice.

Some cookies.

My dad's Cappucino.

.058-Fried Ice-Cream at Imperial Rama, Genting Hotel, Genting Highlands.

On the last day at Genting Highlands, I didn't have lunch with my brother and parents as I wanted to stay back in the room to pack. However, after finish packing, I did go and see the rest of them at a restaurant called Good Friends which was in the hotel too. Then me and my brother went for dessert at Imperial Rama which was located in Highlands Hotel. We ordered, like I told you, my favourite dessert, Fried Ice-Cream, one each. There were two choices, Yam flavour for RM7 and Macadamia Nut flavour for RM16. We ordered the more expensive flavour. Only after we ordered, did I realise that Macadamia Nut is the more expensive flavour then yam.
