.035-Kocha Taiwanese Delight, Burmah Road, Penang.

Slightly more than 2 weeks ago, on 11/09/2009, me and my family went to Kocha for dinner. We rarely come here, and it's only the 2nd time for me and my brother. The last time I came here was I think a few years ago. The food was ok, but the waiters seriously need to learn some English! Btw, sorry if I forgot the names of some of the dishes.

Spicy pork rice set, if I'm not mistaken that is.

This is Iced Horlicks if I'm not wrong.

I forgot what this is.

Honey Lemon drink.

Pan-fried dumplings. Something like Japanese Gyoza.

Garlic pork rice set, if I'm not mistaken.

Beef ball noodle soup.

Spicy Taiwanese Sausages.

Pork ribs with curry sauce. The sauce is something like the Japanese curry.

Fried cod fish roll.

Some sort of buns with the dipping sauce, this was more like dessert.

.034-Dragonfruit drinks at Max Gourmet, Gurney Plaza, Penang.

On the left, my brother's Dragonfruit and Mango drink. On the right, my Dragonfruit and Soursop drink.

Mine! It tastes good, I must say.

Had the drink while my parents were having dinner at Max Gourmet on Sunday. I love dragonfruits!

.033-Pastamania, Gurney Plaza, Penang.

Last Sunday, me and my family went to Gurney Plaza to watch movies. My brother watched Gamer, while me and my parents watched Where Got Ghost?. Just before that me and my brother went to Pastamania to have our dinner. My parents went somewhere else instead. I like the food in this place. It's not to bad, although the prices are a little expensive.

My large Ice Lemon Tea.

My Garlic Bread.

My Minestrone Soup.

All three above comes in a set which if I'm not wrong, is Combo A.

My brother's Bruschetta.

My brother's Calzone. I kinda forgot what the filling was.

.032-Coffee Bean's Sunrise drink.

Sunrise has been my favourite drink at Coffee Bean since I was introduced to drinking at Coffee Bean by my Singaporean relatives a few years back. They were the ones who recommended me this drink and until today, I think it's still the best drink in Coffee Bean. I ordered the large size, by the way.

Large criss-cut fries.

A Crunchy Crust Splitzza (Chicken Supreme and Hawaiian Supreme).

Another Crunchy Crust Splitzza (Hawaiian Tuna and Royal Masala).

My chicken meatballs with Masala sauce.

Had some of these instant noodles early last Friday morning as I was hungry, and I wanted something to eat while watching Apple's keynote that day.

.029-Ingolf's Kneipe, Tanjung Bungah (Hillside), Penang.

Well, when I'm hungry, I can think of anything to eat. Sometime last Sunday, I had other one of my many cravings to eat at Ingolf's Kneipe, a German restaurant at Hillside in Tanjung Bungah. So, last Monday, we went to Ingolf's for dinner.

Ice Lemon Tea.

My brother's Bread Soup.

My Cream of Forest Mushrooms.

My German pork patties. Man, I love the gravy! It's awesome!

My mum's and brother's starter, if I'm not wrong, it's Giant Portobello Mushrooms with ham and cheese.

My mum and dad each ordered a plate of these Chicken Sausages.

My Chicken Schnitzel.

My brother's Pork Cordon Bleu.

.028-Spiced Salt Fried Chicken.

My mum is starting to experiment on recipes she got from cooking shows on the TV. So last Monday was one of days that happened. She got this recipe off a Taiwanese cooking show if I'm not wrong, it consists of some spices and supposedly frogs legs. But because we don't eat frogs legs, she substituted the frogs legs with chicken instead. I must say, it is quite delicious!

.027-Wan Tan Mee, Chowrasta Market, Penang.

On Wednesday, me, my mum and one of my maids went to Chowrasta Market. They did some shopping and before that we went to eat some Wan Tan Mee at one of the stalls there. It's not really a stall, more like a small shoplot. But they only serve Wan Tan Mee there.

My mum's Kopi Peng and my Sarsi, I didn't know whether they had OJ or not, so I ordered Sarsi instead.

Wan Tan Mee.

.025-Coffee Bean, Gurney Plaza, Penang.

Today, I went to Gurney Plaza. Wanted to watch a movie, but I decided not to in the end. So I just went to Coffee Bean (for a change, instead of my usual Starbucks) to sit down and use my laptop. I watched Episode 21 and half of Episode 22 of Season 5 CSI: NY. While I was there, I ordered a Chicken Pie and a Passionfruit Esprit to keep my stomach full.

.024-Bee Hooi Coffeeshop, Burmah Road, Penang.

Between my family, we call this kopitiam Ah Beng's Kopitiam. Not sure why, but that is not the actual name. Last Friday was a no-cooking day at home, so at night, our original plan was to go to dinner and the movies, but something came up and I ended up buying dinner for me and my dad. My mum didn't eat and my brother ate something else. I randomly thought of this place as my dad asked me to get him Wan Tan Mee, and so far this place has the best Wan Tan Mee among the kopitiams in Penang. P.S. I didn't take a photo of the Wan Tan Mee.

My Country Fish.

My pizza.

It's a small Chicken Ham Pizza.
